Hello! I 💖 to read books, so I joined this club! 😊

Hi!

So, I have recently been reading the triolgy, "His Dark Materials" by Phillip Pullman. I have just finished reading the first book in the series, "The Golden Compass." It introduces us to our main character, Lyra. She lives in a paralell world where magic and science intertwine. When her best friend, Roger, is kidnapped she goes on a journey to find him, but ends up uncovering a sinister plot that includes kidnapping children. She ends up trying to figure out what the phenomenon called Dust is and what it has to do with the kidnapping.

I would definitely recommend this book to those who like fantasy!

Hello!
So I also have just finished re-reading a book called " Trail Mates" by Bonnie Bryant. It's a book from the series " The Saddle Club". I really like the series, and I have enjoyed the book! I actually aren't allowed to read all of the books in the series, yet, because since I am only eleven, my mom said that for some of the books, I are a little mature, so I am not ready to read them. But I love the books of " The Saddle Club" that I can read!!

Here is the description: "Carole, Stevie, and Lisa, the 3 members of the Saddle Club, are totally devoted to horses_and to each other. But for Carole, it seems as if there's not much she can count on except riding and friendship of the Saddle Club. Ever since her mother died, Carole has urged her dad to go out on dates. But now she's afraid that he's getting serious with a women whom she isn't ready to think of as a stepmother. Meanwhile, Carole's getting the last thing she needs: unwanted attention from a boy. Scott will do anything_even muck out the stables_to get near her. And Stevie and Lisa aren't much help. They're busy modeling for a riding catalog_and finding out that modeling's not all it's cracked up to be!"

Whew, long description, haha! 😅 So anyways, it is a fun book, and I think that you should read it!

Alright, so now I am reading a book called " The Secret Garden" by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Sound familiar? I think that it is a pretty popular book, haha!

If you haven't read the book, well, lets just say you need to!
Here is the description that is on the back: " After the death of her parents, Mary Lennox is sent to her uncle's house on the Yorkshire Moors. But the house is an unhappy one. A tragedy happened there years before, and Mary's uncle has never recovered. Miserable and lonely, Mary starts to explore the house's gardens. There, led by a mischievous robin, she discovers a secret so important, so enchanting, that it will change her life completely..."

It is a great book, that I recommend kids ages nine and up to read!! I am on Chapter Twenty-Four, and it is called ' Let Them Laugh'. I hope that this book is the next on your reading list

😄 😄

Hey!
So recently I have been reading a book called " Trixie Belden #5 The Mystery Off Glen Road". So far, so good! Here is what it says in the back, " After a storm blows through Sleepyside, Trixie and the Bob-Whites' clubhouse is left in peices by a fallen tree. How will they earn the money to fix it before winter hits? Trixie and Honey gets jobs patrolling the game preserve. The work is easy... but that's before Trixie comes across the trail of a dangerous poacher!"
