Actually this is my last post!
So, went to the library. I picked up some of the Tokyo Ghoul's even though I've read them before. I really admire the art, because Ishida makes it seem both real and manga at the same time. The cover art is so pretty, but it's digital, like most manga today. It's about a boy who goes on a date with a girl who ends up being a ghoul (a man-eating creature that is human but craves human flesh and must eat to survive). The boy is human, but after an accident happens in which this girl, called Rize, tries to kill him and gets hit by a steel pole, the boy ends up having his kidney removed. So, yay, great, he gets a new one, but that new one is from Rize, so he becomes the first ghoul/human hybrid. He has to learn how to switch from his morality to the ghouls'. I would suggest only mature people read it cuz it has:

1) Excessive gore
2) Excessive swearing
3) Some partial nudity
4) Adult themes

So, yeah. I read it when I was 13, but I only read up to volume 7 cuz after that it got way worse. And no, the gore isn't just normal gore, it's "HOW CAN YOU BLEED THAT MUCH?" gore, and ripping-n-slashing gore. Sooooo yeah. Anyway, onto another manga you could read XD

I got another called Fairy Tale Battle Royale and so far it's good. This bullied chick ends up signing a contract to make her popular if she just becomes Alice in a gruesome fairy tale world where all the fairy tale casts are zombie mummy things. So, she has to kill all of them. She's very squeamish and has morals, so it's very hard for her. Like a fairytale Hunger Games almost. There's blood but it's about the level of Bleach. And did I mention the art is so beautiful!??! The color art is like watercolor!

I hope my manga ends up being as good as these ;3 I'm tryna take some inking tips from Tokyo Ghoul best I can, even if it's mostly digital. What manga/anime have you guys been reading/watching?
