**YASHODA'S LIBRARY**
Yashoda Shenoy once failed to return the books she had borrowed from a library near her house in Kochi, Kerala, (India) on time. The fine that she had to pay set her wondering how those from low-income families would read or become members of a library. The result: this January, the 12-year-old, 6th Grade student, set up a free library, which already has 3,500 books and over 100 members, including her brother! No late fees either.
