My favorite deleted scene ever.

LotR the Two Towers:
*after the Fellowship arrive in Rohan after finding Merry & Pippin; the latter are dancing on a table and the camera goes over to Legolas and Gimli at a bar and having a drinking contest*

Gimli: OKAY HERE WE GO *starts drinking*
Legolas: *looks curiously down at the mug with an odd expression on his face and then tediously tries it*
Gimli: *is still downing bucket after bucket of beer*
*revisits them with Gimli having dozens of empty buckets beside him... then it goes to Legolas, who has drunk more than Gimli has, by about ten or so*
Gimli: I...can...do...it... *downs another beer*
Legolas: My fingers... they're tingling. *is staring at his fingers like he has the Holy Grail in his hands, his eyes full of wonder*
Gimli: *passes out*
Legolas: *grins* I think we can say whose the winner


Your fingers tinglin' cuz you drunk, Legolas.

Tried to look up whose playing Legolas for the new show.

Got this.

"ORLANDO BLOOM: Says he's 'aged-out' of playing Legolas" AKA... he's not gonna be in it, obviously. ...why Orlando? Sure, you're in your 40's but you still look good as Legolas.

If anyone knows whose playing our fave elf prince, lemme know.

(Gonna use this for the manga updates!)

All the major characters' designs (the hobbits, Elrond, Aragorn, Arwen, Glorfindel, Haldir, Celeborn, Galadriel, Boromir, the Fellowship, Legolas, etc) have been developed.

The manga WILL BE DIFFERENT from the movie in a couple respects:

1) Story.
I am keeping the story closer to the book. Like, Tom'll be in it. And Glorfindel will actually get to save the hobbits. Stuff like that.
2) Dialogue.
I am keeping that medieval-sounding talk, though I will edit a little bit of it to make it clearer for readers.
3) Places
Some places will be designed differently, and some places not touched upon in the movie will come into the manga (like the Ivy Bush and the Green Dragon).

That's my first update.
I am planning on making a group to post it in soon.

Just saw whose gonna be playing Frodo for LOTR (Ayamayo). JUST NO. I want my Elijah back, please. And if by some stroke of grace I am wrong about him being the main star, he won't do much better as anyone else.

Update on LOTR manga:
Will start in March. I have character designs down (some are different from the movie), and I am designing the Shire and the other places in Middle-earth. I figured out a way to keep it fairly accurate to the manga, so hopefully that'll work out. Not sure when I'll be able to share it (it's gonna go thru a lot of digital editing for text and stuff), but my guess is at least by April! Will post teasers though so you don't get mad at me XD
