GemHeart Quote, “This is Lindalen’s aesthetic” -Queeny, after getting VSCO or e-girl vibes for Linda whenever she would do one of those online quizzes—

THIS IS LONG, SO BE PREPARED
LESSER KNOWN ARTISTS:
- TOMMEE PROFITT
If you like classical, hip-hop, or alt music this dude is very talented and mixes all three. He hires artists such as Sam Tinnesz (a must if you love alt), Fleurie (she’s changed up a lot over the years, from acoustic to electro pop, but under him she does all sorts of music, from alt to ballads; she’s one of my all-time faves), Svrcina (a great alt artist, just ask Lunamoonlight), and more o.o He does AMAZING covers of songs like Avicii’s Wake Me Up and... the theme from Gilligan’s Island. Don’t laugh! It’s actually a really amazing cover that makes the show sound like an adventure action movie XD. I really love his “Cinematic Songs” volumes, but my all time favorite is the collaboration “Gloria Regali” he did with...
- FLEURIE
A very talented artist, her music isn’t for everyone but she messes around with different sounds each album. In “Gloria Regali”, a Collab between her and Tommee (above), she uses her beautiful voice with Tommee’s orchestral and hip-hop scores. My personal favorite of hers (besides Gloria Regali) is “Fear and Fable”, followed by “Portals”. Her other full length album, “Love and War”, is a mix of her own music and some she did with Tommee. Her voice is beautiful :o
- SAM TINNESZ
AHHH THIS GUY INTRODUCED ME TO EVERYONE ELSE HERE ON THIS PART OF THE LIST. I heard his song “Play With Fire” years ago, and I love his music so much. It’s alt, but like very upbeat and rocky alt, like the type you could go do action movie stuff to and feel like a superhero lol- not that I've done it- away, I love his songs “Babel”, “Wolves”, “Bloodshot”, “Even If It Hurts”, and so many others.
-EURIELLE
Not for everyone, as her music is like New Age, but I personally love her songs “City of the Dead”, “Raindrops”, “Je t’Adore”, “Burning Cold”, “I’ll Be Waiting” and “Waterfalls” from her album Arcadia. Her voice is pretty and her music is good, and while her song-writing isn’t the best lol (as compared to certain other artists), she makes it up with complex musical scores.
-BEECAKE
Fronted by Billy Boyd (yes, Pippin from LOTR) and full of unique electric-pop vibes, and good song-writing, the music is really good. As long as you can understand Billy’s Scottish accent lol. His voice is amazing though, and his best songs in my opinion are “The Clown” (everyone needs a good creepy song...), “Rooftop”, “This Happening” and “Waiting For You”.
- KALEO
Okay, I love this band. It’s an Icelandic based one, but most of the songs are in English (though the Icelandic ones are also beautiful). The lead singer has such a soulful voice and the music is a bluesy folksy rock, and it’s really special. This band is more well known that others on this part of the list, but I hadn’t heard of them until I heard the songs “Way Down We Go” and “Break My Baby”.
BETTER KNOWN ARTISTS:
-FALL-OUT BOY
Y’all know them lol, “Centuries”, “The Phoenix”... etc, very popular band but for good reason, Patrick Stump has a great voice. I love their music.
-AMERICAN AUTHORS
Not as popular, but should be: they did “Believer” and some other music. Lots of feel-good music and good beats, I really like “Bring It On Home”, “Luck”, and “Deep Water”.
-OF MONSTERS AND MEN
“Little Talks”? Heard of that one? Mhm, this band has a good folksy vibe. I love almost all of their music, especially their older stuff. I like “King and Lionheart”, “Love Love Love”, and lots of others.
-BASTILLE
After “Pompeii”, they kinda faded out, but the music afterwards was still really good. “Doom Days”, “Things We Lost in the Fire”, “Flaws”, “Oblivion”, “World Gone Mad” are all good songs. They have more of an alt vibe, and I love listening to them.
-TOBY-MAC
Best. Christian. Artist. Hands down. If you want feel-good, upbeat, unique music, go check Toby out. His favorite songs of mine are “This Is Not a Test”, “Til the Day I Die”, “Backseat Driver”, and nearly anything else he produces these days, though he hasn’t as much after his son (and a rapper in many of his songs) TRU died. T.T
- NF
Raw emotion, great song-writing, clean rap. “People tell me my music is violent”- “then we define that differently.” There’s no mention of gang violence or etc (even though I love Eminem, he’s not the best choice for a lot of people, so pick NF y’all) cuz he used to do Christian music with TobyMac and others. I really like “Green Light”, “All I Have”, and “Mansion”.
- X AMBASSADORS
Upbeat alt music with a more rocky sound than Fall Out Boy and Bastille. I like a lot of their music, “Boom”, “Love Songs Drug Songs”, “Hold You Down”, and “Ahead of Myself” are some of my faves.
- PARAMORE
YES THEY ARE GOOD. I love Hayley William’s beautiful voice and how well she can use it. The song writing is great and the music is also a bit folksy.
- EVANESCENCE
Female driven opera rock, all I can really say besides that they are amazing...
- COLDPLAY
Pretty well known, been around for a while. Great soulfully meaningful music. Not for everyone because their older music is more sparse with some things, but their newer stuff gets better all the time. “Everyday Life” is one of their newer songs and a good place to start <3
Some more suggestions: Seether, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, Secret Garden, Sia, Skillet, Jason Aldean, P!nk, Alan Walker, Marshmallow, Imagine Dragons, TØP... and so many more I can’t remember :D SO GO TAKE A LISTEN TO ONE OF THESE SINGERS AND FIND UR NEXT FAVE SONG *shoves you to YouTube*
Oh, also the song that just came on my iHeartradio: “If We Have Each Other” by Alec Benjamin, take a listen to his music too :D
“Moth” cuz in Elvish Sindarin it means “dusk”, so that’s Linda’s childhood nickname lol. Plus she’s supposed to be a kid here? IDK tho, I had a sketch so I added hair and made it her so—
Artistry 101: when you have no inspiration, STEELZ IT
Amy Lee of Evanescence!
She has a beautiful voice, go listen to her music—
lunamoonlight She really does. I love their song Bring Me To Life. Have you heard Broken by Seether ft Amy Lee? It's beautiful together.
JD2005 Pretty! ❤
GemHeart IKR, Broken is really good
JD2005 Cool! ❤
