why are book and car numbers always a year ahead? like "the pika guide 2020" or generic car brand and car name 2020?

KnightStar Scooter I have never had a skateboard before. I had my scooter since I was 6 and my parents wouldn't dare by me another.
lunamoonlight I tried skateboarding a little bit, my brother used to skate 24/7 (if he wasn't skating, me was playing Skate2 or Skate3) and I think it's better than scooters
