"Hey! Mark!"

Mark? But my name's Grey.

The young boy turned around. He blinked as the older girl ran towards him, her red hair whipping in the wind. She grasped his shoulders and shook him rather roughly. He didn't move, but hold onto her wrists. "Mark!"

That's me, right? I'm Mark? No. I'm watching them.

The boy blinked again, and she sighed. She led him across the castle grounds, making sure he didn't stumble or fall. He had been near the forest, with their whipping gnarly branches, and his sister had noticed.

And this is Annie. She's my sister.

But something tore through the air, and Grey was suffocated. Something was encasing him, and his hearing was fading... he couldn't breath, he couldn't walk. He couldn't even see the boy, the boy as he reached for his sister, a sadistic grin on his face and dark green mist extending from his fingertips--

"STOP!"

His father yanked him out of the memory. Grey gasped for breath, his pale hair wet and his face dripping water. He looked around, and noticed that he was back in his father's office, where Grey had decided to try his Pensieve.

"You're 16 now," said his father angrily. "Quit looking at my memories."

"Whose Annie?" asked Grey, still gasping for breath. He was a very attractive young man, with longish hair and glowing blue eyes. He stared at his father steadily.

His father growled. "Your aunt," he said. "Go away."

Grey stood, steadfast. "You said my aunt died."

"She did," said Mark, his face contorted. "Don't bring it up." He turned around, slipping his wand into his pocket. "Come on," he said. "Potter needs to see me, something about an Auror job. Want to come?"

"First you demand I come, then you ask." Grey said, shifting some books on his father's desk and looking at their titles.

"Stay here if you want," said Mark. "But don't you dare use the Pensieve again!" He slammed the door, and Grey was left in the dark. The Pensieve glowed light blue, and he was drawn to it.

He was going to find out how his aunt died, even if it revealed secrets of his father's Death Eater past.

A/N: Grey was a boy I made a little before I made Asia. Actually, he was originally gonna be her brother but I changed that. He's actually another version of the boy Asia was friends with in the orphanage. Yes, it was very short, but this was actually a excerpt from an old story that I rewrote.

My official first writing I posted on this platform (btw, enter my contest lol!! This will also be the last of my spam...)

She woke up, cold. Beatrice mostly didn't have any covers, she never thought to steal from the kingdoms castle, although she has full regret.
Of course, she was hungry too. As she watched John sleep peacefully, she then decided to go and find food, afterall, it mustn't be too far away from the shack.
The opened the big doors as quiet as she could, although they made creaking sounds while doing so.
She carried on, as it was sunny out.
All she knew was, it was going to be short, or at least that's what she thought.
Starting to walk, she went to the road that looked like it might have food, even though telling it would be impossible.
She sighed, carrying on her restless journey.
After a few minutes, she smelled something rather good. She knew it was food, even though she didn't know what it was.
After smelling it, following the savory scent, she spotted a small cottage.
Desperate, she knocked the doors of the place. After two minutes, an old woman came out. Her hair in a ball, with a huge smile. "Hello!" She said to Beatrice, greeting her in. "Hi" Beatrice happily said.
"Would you like some porrige? I've got plenty!"
She couldn't believe what she heard, that smell so delightful was porridge?
I guess this is what starvation does to you.
"Of course!" Beatrice said, coming in. "No problem" the old lady led her to the kitchen, where there was a table with porridge on it.
The porridge had fruit on it, like strawberries. Beatrice licked her lips, with no hesitation to eat the meal.
"Thanks for bringing me into your home! That was very nice of you!" Said Beatrice with cheeks stuffed with porrige. "Oh, no problem" the old lady smiled almost non human like, but Beatrice didn't notice.

Heres another chapter! Short, but had a lot going on and couldn't write a bunch!

one of my first writings chared on this platform! I've come a long way!!!

I looked around at the big room, with the king and queen staring at me. A sudden feeling of guilt overcame me, as the opened their mouths.

"How dare you do this to us, betray us!" she yelled, as I felt anger and guilt control my feeling. "Sorry you majesty," I said, on my knees for forgiveness

"You really think your going to get away with this, you foolish child!" The King looked to the other strong knights, calling them to put me in a cell.

"I'm sorry!" I yelled, as they pulled me away from the Queen and King's disappointment.

After being painfully tugged in the castles halls, we finally arrived to my cell. It was dusty and dark, as I could hear screams from every corner.

I bundled up, as the other knights, my friends, left me for dead. "I'm sorry" I whispered to myself, but not even I could hear the word "sorry" mummer from my mouth.

As all hope was lost, as I heard steps come down to the dungeon.

Surprised, I saw the princess. With long brown hair, and stormy grey eyes, she was a real princess. Although, it confused me why she was down here.

She looked at me in worry in h eyes, as she headed over to me. "Hello Arnold," she said, with keys dangling from her pockets.

"I'm here to set you free" She said.

I guess hope wasn't lost after all. "Great!" I stumbled. Barely anyone saw the princess, was always isolated and locked up in her room, studying.

"Okay, let's go," she said, walking silently. My shoes made loud noises, which caused her to shush me.

"Where are we going exactly?" I asked, as she sighed. "A secret place. More like a garden." She said.

After walking the halls, we finally made it silently outside. The gardens were amazing, but the princess looked unimpressed.

"Not here," she said, pushing me over to a wall.

She touched the wall, causing it to open widely. "Here" she said.

It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. With many varieties of flowers, and picnic tables, and birds chirping.

I woke up.

I was alone, in a room. My old room from when I was a child, for I was really poor then. So, my room was always dusty, as my parents would always leave.

UNUPDATED Silens I OC quotes from a year ago. They are all HP OCS.

Please don't steal, this is my original work. You are allowed to make fan things of it, though I'm sure that won't happen. This is just a prologue, it is not the official but it would still be unkind of you.

"You could almost feel it, could almost pretend it was real, but it wasn't, was it?"\\\
\\\

You could almost hear the whimpering of the crowd at the top of that very castle, the huge castle, mountains of land laid at rest and rubble. Town, city, all you could ever ask for-but why shall we be sad? Disappointed it's not enough? Because who are born with power, those who are called high-born only care for more. There are these high-born, rubble eaters, Lords and perhaps the controller of all of this is the Gods itself. Servants, maid, priests, nuns, these are the things you could be. But you can't choose. Of course, you can't, we are not entitled to choose who we are. What we are entitled to be choosing how we play that role.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

That same crowd, that crowd that had sat their all Summer when the harvest season was ending, all Winter when the plants would fray away, all during the fall when the harvest was just beginning and all other seasons. The same people who begged at the feet of sinners themselves, starving and whimpering. That city glowed yellow that one Spring day, it's castle as bright as it could be real. It's beautiful roses all around it, it's high castle walls and guards protecting the castles queens and kings, nobles, knights from any endangerment. \\\
\\\
\\\
\\\
You even see one small girl, freckles and dark brown hair and light brown, almost hazel eyes. She sat on the steps in the glowing city, in the clothern side of that city, whose name was Borhedom. She sat there, with her long hair and a smile placed on her face. She sat on the steps of the cathedral, a huge one with glass windows of children and various kinds of colorful hues.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

There were many people up those steps of that church, elder woman praying in another language then what the young girl was familiar with. They kept indeed praying as rigid as they could, nonstop. They wore black clothing, you'd suppose it would indeed be for a funeral. That one little girl on the steps didn't pay close mind to it, she looked twelve, and she was also quite pretty. She wore a brown dress, quite in an ugly one, many people could look down at the small girl and strongly agree.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

Standing there, face down, smiling as people walked by. She had in her lap jars of jam, her family, from a town called Caeshire, near Borhedom, the ever so great city, the city was known for its markets and trades. It was called the "Shining City", for it always did glow a wonderful yellow color. It made the people who lived there proud, being one of the largest and best nations, 'best' in their pure opinions. \\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

"Louella!" the young girl could hear her name being shouted, repeatedly. She recognized the voice it was being shouted by, her brother Bale. He had then noticed her, sitting at the top of the steps, near the wooden door of the entrance to the cathedral; about eight or nine feet tall, if not more the door was. Bale wasn't a tall man, he was only about 5'7, which wasn't very tall for his age. He was a young adult, twenty years old with a peculiar smile. A smile that kept its youth, and dark brown hair with grey eyes. You could say the siblings looked almost nothing alike, sometimes people couldn't really guess they were related, though they both did have very pale skin.
Bale wore what most peasants wore: a white shirt and trousers.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

The girl's name was Louella Holbrook, she was the daughter of two farmers who has always lived in the same place all their life, in Caeshire. It was a peaceful town; a place people went for retirement or to raise their young. Louella always found it boring, that same cattle every day just baying, scrubbing up her horse's stall near her small cottage every morning. You could see it in the poor girl's eyes she wanted adventure, to be a knight, or ride to foreign lands.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

"What do you want Bale?" Louella asked, standing up on the stone steps. She looked up in his grey eyes, his wonderful stormy grey eyes.\\\
\\\

"Mother and father are worried for you, we should better get going back to Caeshire." Bale said, his hands behind his back, grinning widely with his head down low, looking into his sisters' eyes aswell. Louella slightly nodded her head, holding her brothers' cold hands. In the streets of the Clothern part of Borhedom, you could almost touch the sun it felt like. It was so close, yet it didn't burn up the city, she could see the rays of as it shone on her face.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

You could hear a racket in the city, lots of yelling and screaming from the folks. Laughter in the combination, drunk people wandering the streets with flasks in their hands. "We better get going," Bale guided little Louella down the streets, people dancing and selling their fruits. You could hear the bands playing, some of it was rather retched music to Bale's ears.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

Once the two had exited out of the loud part of the city, it was a quieter, calmer cobblestone path that would lead to the small village that they lived in. The two slowly walked down that stone path, watching the trail carefully. "Bale, I don't need you to protect me all the time, you know," Louella said, letting go of Bale's hand. "I'm a kid, I'm a small one, but I'm not imprudent." She said, looking up at his saddened face. He didn't respond, his shoes making loud stepping noises that had made an explanation for the silence.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

"How do you know such big words, you can't even read." He said, not paying attention to what she said before. Bale looked up and down, at his shoes and a little tilted down but still up at her face. "You are still a child, a small one that can't protect herself. You know very well how cruel this world is." He said, picking up enough courage to talk to his twelve-year-old sister. "Look, this part is steep Louella, be careful of holes." He clowned around with her.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

Louella only put on an utterly infuriated face, and once they reached the little village, she ran to the hen house. The air was a breeze, flowing through Bale's hair as he would stop in his tracks, look yonder the Kingdom of Borhedom and the wealthy, huge estates in the horizon. Louella, on the other hand, didn't appreciate all the fresh air blowing in her face as she ran to the hens and chickens. Today was slaughter day, tomorrow the meats would be taken to the farther side of the city.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

Her mother, a rather old woman with many wrinkles and a skinny figure was standing with one of the family's friends, an old man named Barny Wildberity. He had white hair, tired old eyes and a little chubby. Louella had stood in the mud, near the chickens as hay was spread all around. "We'd better make a safer cupboard." Louella's mother said, lifting a fine piece of tree bark.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

"When it rained this morning three of them got soaking wet and died." She continued a gloomy tone as usual. "I'm sure it's fine, you've got a bunch of little chickling eggs anyways," said Barny as he attempted to sound more content than her to cheer her mood up. "Well, I guess your right Barny. Bad things happen to make way for good things," Louella's mother dropped the bark as it fell on the ground in a puddle, her sighing and stretching.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

Their mother looked at Bale, her hands on her back. "Bale, please come and help us, dear!" she yelled, picking up some more wood. "The Lumbers were kind enough to chop this wood for us from the Latchlam woods." Bale was a strong broad fellow himself, he would always chop would too when winter came for the fires—he would love helping around, bringing the meat to the slaughterhouse. Bale looked around for a minute before going to choose the chickens that were going to be sold or slaughtered. "These ones really meaty!" Louella pointed at a golden one, a wonderful, beautiful fat golden one that they had kept for a while now.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

Bale held the fowl by its neck, taking it to the little wooden house where they would slaughter their chickens. "This one's good," Bale said as he looked at Louella, her eyes pierced on the chicken's feathers, which were white and yellow with slight of a goldish tint.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

Louella followed him in. He banged it on the wooden wall quick as its neck cracked. He arranged it down on another wooden table. In this town, everything seemed to be made of wood. It wasn't like the city, the feeling of the town was different, the looks. It was fresher in comparison to the Shining City, it was a cultural change when you'd entered the Farther side of Borhedom with many foreigners.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

"C'mon Lou, let's go outside and get some fresh air." He left the dead chicken on the table, covering it up. The whole barn had smelled like blood and rotting flesh, after a while the family had gotten used to the smell, working the business they had. A smile was on Louella's face, "The places you could be." She said, as they walked outside of the small slaughterhouse and smelled the flowery air.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

They both sat down on a huge rock, looking at the hills yonder the village and Clothern side of Borhedom. They only ever got to see a small part of the city anyways: the church, castle walls, and the market. The quiet place though Caeshire, almost too quiet, and whenever it wasn't quiet, you'd hear little children yelling. Then you'd want to undo your wish, obtaining the greyness of the village.\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

"You know Bale, what if you were a king? Of all this, responsible for so ever many lives?" You could see the first of that in Bale's eyes, he only knew his home. Home is what you make, and home is what you make of it. "I wouldn't be a very good king. A king without a crown perhaps." He said rather quickly, letting out a big sigh. Right in front of him was an apple tree. A large one perhaps, huge, red juicy apples that were ready to pick were on it.\\\
\\\

"What if you were a Queen? Married to a King."\\\
\\\
\\\
\\\

"What if? I suppose I wouldn't be a very good one either. You'd suppose we were servants of some sort of skin," Louella said this with her tiny voice. "But I suppose that would be on my King to be good," she continued. She laid her head down on Bale's shoulder as they watched the sun go down. The horizon--as they watched the milky orange sun go down--seemed like fumes were spread across the lands. It was stunning sight; the view reminded the two every day on how beautiful the world is\\\

If you do want me to post the rest of the chapters, comment and show your support! I would really appreciate it. :D

"It's stunning, how the world is. How you can just take glace at it and honestly believe it's beautiful, how you can live a life knowing you've tried. How no matter how hard you try, you're never alone. It outstands me."
Tom Draco Malfoy (Harry Potter Orginal Character-From Fanfic "Silens I":
"It's looking in a mirror, you and I. I'm just looking at a different me with a different face ad different life. We are the same person though, right?" Tom Malfoy; 2018 (Silens I)

Lucas Malfoy (Silens I, Harry Potter OC)
"Love isn't a good nor an evil thing. It gives and it doesn't ever receive anything back, so it takes more than granted." (A/N: I feel bad for my little boy, living a life not knowing what's going to happen. You died grand, rest in peace, my child.)
"Were all ready to die, you idiot. None of us wanted to die. None of us needed to die. It's all an act, a play, nothing more."
Theme Song: Serial Killer by Lana Del Ray, ' 'Cause I love you a little too much' (1)
(A/N: Why did I choose this song? Because we all love too much)
Theme Song: I Found by Amber (?) 'And I found love where it wasn't supposed to be, right next to me.'
(It's true y'all my small child has found someone. Love comes unexpected, that's so great about love. It never comes picked, at least at my experience.)
Bale Beaugard (Character, OB, Borhedom Falls)
' "People pretend to be other people to fill in the holes those people made. But when you're being someone else, your just a huge hole yourself," Bale said, standing outside of the great fortress, a stronghold held by stones. Looking out into the great beyond, his swords clenched in his hand and his white fur coat that was almost suitable with his black wear.'
'"Justice is for forbidden, mercy is dyeing. Unless you like the feel of pain or a loved ones death.' At the castle walls, you could see the fear in the children's faces as their weary mothers held them in their arms, watching the black-suited, pale white men enter the valleys. 'Let down your weapons, we are only here to speak with your lord after all.' One of the soldiers said a grin appeared on his face."
Sail (A/N: I'm not sure I wanted this to be his theme song because of its background: since it's entered the 'meme' world.)
Window by Joji? (A/N: Alright, I'm sorry, I've just lost it; my mind has no idea which song or more of I can't think of any songs. This is a really good vibey song I guess, horrible for his description but y' know what? I suggest it, FILTHY FRANK YOUU KNOW.)
Grand Piano by Nicki Minaj 'And you played me like a grand piano.' (A/N: I love this song so MUCH! It gives me so much nostalgia, and recommend it so much too. I feel like this is a good song for his sister to him, but Louella/Bale song I guess.)
Louella Holbrooke
"I've just spent all this time lying. I mean, I was always your sister. I just never thought I could be so much because of you, not me. Never was me."
Till it happens to you by Lady Gaga (A/N: Till it happens to you, I love this character. She most likely the only one I haven't killed off. Which is strange, she's just modeled off of what I wanted to be. And yes, Lady Gaga, the person who wrote "GAGA RU MAMA"

A/N: I'll make a part two, promise! It'll be out soon.

Literally, no one asked me lol. Anyways, I'm getting started!

KnightStar’s Writing Contest- Harry Potter FanFic

Thump. Thump. Thump. I woke to the sound of knocking on the door. I quietly tiptoed out of my room. I looked around to make sure no one else was awake. Like a cat, I stealthily made my way to the door. Thump. Thump. Thump. The noise came again. I opened the door slowly, so it wouldn’t creak.

Outside, standing there was a huge man. He was twelve feet tall with a big bushy beard. Of course, I’d heard all about him from my grandmother. His name was Hagrid. He was carrying a letter, written in green ink. I had gotten thousands of these letters, but when my parents saw them, they turned pale and snatched them away.

Of course, I knew what they were. Hogwarts letters. I was to go to Hogwarts, but my parents never let me. My Grandmother told me why not before she died. “Grace, your parents were never fond of whiches and wizards like us. They think we’re evil. All because of one wizard that disappeared ten years ago. He tried to kill us all. But we’re not all like that. We, most of us, are good, kind people. And that’s what I want you to be when you grow up: Grace Abbott, a good witch.”

I looked up at the man. “Hello, Mr. Hagrid.” He looked at me confusedly. “Mr.? I ain’t no Mister. Just call me Hagrid. And I supposes you know why I’m here.” “yes, I do.” I responded. “Although I haven’t had an opportunity to actually read my letter yet, but my grandmother told me, a few years ago, before she…” my voice trailed off.

“Ah, yeah.”the giant said. “Killed by You- know- who. Very sad. Anyway, here’s your letter.” He handed me the letter. It had my name, address, and a strange seal on it, with a letter H, and a lion, a serpent, a badger, and an eagle. Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw.

Excitedly, I ripped the letter open and pulled out a sheet of parchment and read:

“Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore
(Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorcerer, Chief Warlock,,Supreme Mugwump, International Confederation of Wizards)
Dear Ms. Grace Abbott,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.Term begins on September 1. We await your owl no later than July 31. The Hogwarts Express leaves at eleven o’clock from platform nine and three- quarters at King’s Cross station. Your ticket is enclosed.
Yours sincerely,

Minerva McGonagall,
Deputy Headmistress”

“Yes!” I was so excited I forgot to whisper. I heard footsteps on the stairs. I realized, too late, that I was supposed to be asleep. I turned around and saw my father. He saw Hagrid and the letter in my hand, and knew immediately what was going on. He raced down the stairs, and stood in front of Hagrid, looking up. “My daughter will NOT be going to that- to that- that Voodoo school. I will not have it in my house. Now GET OUT, or I’ll call the POLICE!”

I walked over to my dad, and calmly said, “Dad, if Hagrid’s leaving, I am too. Goodbye.” I walked out the door. My dad yelled and followed me. My mum came down the stairs, carrying- a wand? I looked at her in surprise, and she said, “I never thought I would use this thing again. And definitely not on my own daughter. But I have no choice.” She lifted her wand and pointed it at me. She opened her mouth, her mouth forming into the words, and I ran off, following Hagrid onto a huge, black motorcycle.
The engine revved, and soon, we were up in the air.

We landed in a field somewhere in the country. All I knew was, it definitely wasn’t London anymore. We walked over to a cottage. It was somewhat small, and the bricks were uneven. A wooden sign next to the door said ‘The Burrow’. Hagrid knocked on the door, which was opened by a stout, red haired woman. “Is this…” she asked of Hagrid after studying me for a little bit. “Yeh” was the response. “I’ll leave her here with ye.” He walked off, back towards the motorcycle. I watched him take off, leaving me with a strange family.

“Come on in, deary” said the woman with a warm smile. “I’m Molly Weasley, nice to meet you.” “Nice to meet you too, Mrs. Weasley.” I said. I followed her inside, and saw four older boys and a girl about my age, all red haired, drinking tea around a table. “Hello.” they all said in unison. “Boys, Ginny, this is Grace. She’ll be staying with us until it’s time to go to school.” The girl, Ginny, smiled at me. “Nice to meet you, Grace.” she said shyly. “Nice to meet you too.” I said, returning the greeting. I knew I had made a new friend.

I stayed with them all summer, sleeping on a cot in Ginny’s room Mr. Weasley conjured up. Another boy named Harry, came to stay during the last few weeks. I could tell Ginny had a crush on him.

We got all our supplies in a place called Diagon Alley, traveling by Floo powder. When it was time to go, we all packed into a surprisingly spacious car. “Widened by magic.” Mr Weasley whispered to me.

At the train station, we got out of the car. We pushed our carts to platform nine, and went to a barrier in between nine and ten. There were a lot of sad goodbyes, and then Ginny pushed her cart, running through the barrier. I went next. We both got on a scarlet train and sat down in a compartment.
Soon after, two girls walked in, giggling with each other. “Hello!” Said one of them enthusiastically. “I’m Lyla, and this is Stella. Can we sit here?” “Yeah, of course.” I responded. “Are you first years too?” They both nodded. All throughout the train ride, we talked, giggling and smiling. By the end of the train ride, we were all fast friends.

We got off the train, and Hagrid was there. He led us down a path, taking all the first years to a dock. “Four to a boat!” The giant yelled. I got in a boat with Stella, Lyla, and Ginny. When our boat came in sight of the Hogwarts towers, everyone ‘oohed’ and ‘ahhed’. It was truly amazing. Hagrid dropped the first years with a strict- looking woman he called Professor McGonagall. She led us to a big hall and walked out.

But before she walked out, she came up to me and said, “I’m glad you could come. You’ll be safe here.” Now, writing this in my Gryffindor dorm, (that was where the sorting hat put me), I’m wondering at what she said. And I’m wondering at the strange shadows I see, laughing at me in the darkness.
