I made a friend in science class at the beginning of this school year just by talking to the kid next to me and she all of a sudden became my friend:
The conversation went something like this (i think) :
Me: "So, what are we supposed to do exactly?"
My friend: "IDK."
Me: "Well then, I guess I'm going to talk about off topic things then..."
Me: "Do you like Earthbound?"
My friend: "I heard of it."
My friend: "Do you like playing Legend of Zelda?"
Me: "I am not really into games like Legend of Zelda."
My friend: "I like playing Ocarina of Time."
Me: "You Mean the n64 game?"
My friend: "Yeah."
Me: "Well what do you know about Earthbound exactly?"
My friend: "Not too much, I know who Ness is..." (she talks about what she knows)
Me: "Oh. Cool!"
(We start talking about Earthbound related things)
My friend: "What is your name?"
Me: "It's (can't share name haha sike)"
Me: "What is YOUR name?"
My friend: "(can't share names haha sike)"
Me: "Sorry, what? I misheard it and it is hard for me to hear"
My friend: "(can't say names haha sike)"
My friend: "Just call me (can't say nicknames haha sike)"
Me: "OK"
That is how we became friends.
