I just got braces...and they hurt SO MUCH! And since I have braces, I have to brush my teeth 3 times a day, floss in between them with a special flosser, (which takes forever) cleaning in between them with a special little brush, and I have to deal with the pain with painkillers! So if you aren't seeing me here on enough, I am dealing with some issues, quite like these. I can't wait till my first few days of having braces is over. -_-

GemHeart Yes. I got out of mine many months ago. So, first off, know that there’s nothing wrong with them! You are beautiful no matter what! Also, don’t chew your nails or eat anything that may get stuck. ALWAYS make sure they’re comfortable when they get tightened. Once, my cheek got caught, and my dad had to use pliers to cut the wire! He’s not even a dentist, but it didn’t work. So, make sure that you are comfortable with the braces and how they feel. Also, they will be sore, so make sure you eat Mac and other soft foods the first week and a few days after they are tightened each time. Hope this helps!
