The setting for animes I watch-
89.9% are a person getting sucked into another fantasy world for some reason or VR gaming where they go to a fantasy world. (Bofuri: I Don't Want To Get Hurt So I'll Max Out My Defense, SAO, In Another World With My Smartphone, No Game No Life, ect)
10% are in school. (Assassination Classroom, Watamote, Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun, Vampire Knight, ect)
.1% are both. (Angel Beats! Is the only one, the dude ended up in another world in high school.)

An anime character just went from being one of the purest, best characters to worshipping a cult in one episode. Da flarf?

So my friend Bianca once told me that if I put "dance", "people" and "free" in one sentence she would cry because of a series she watched. The sentence I then said afterwards was "Free the dancing people" trying to make the most random sentence. She cried. The original sentence had been "People dance when they are free". But she still cried to freeing dancing people.

Watching a show, and the characters work so well together-

You have the optimistic and upbeat character, a sarcastic and monotonous character, a character fighting for morals, and then the main dude who on the inside is super anti-social but on the outside is a bit conceited to hide it. They all just work so well together.
