Guessing time! The other account on here and KT, I want you guys to try and guess. ONE PERSON KNOWS other than me, they will not be allowed to guess. The name is the same on both sites, and I rarely use it. It has been active since Dec. 28 2019.

I have a book problem.
I read this book, maybe a year ago? And I know the plot, I know a minor detail, I know what the cover looked like, but I don't remember the character names, the author, or the title. I want to read it again, and I know it was from my library and that I do not own the book. And Google did not help.

What I can remember from the book-
First off, not a kids book given the subject matter, about young-adult. A 11*-year-old girl (protaginist) who recently turned that age was bullied by a new girl who was a completely and utterly awful child (I remember the new girl snapping a bird's neck). I remember there was a dude who lived near the 11-year-old who usually kept to himself, and had a camera with which he took a lot of pictures, he was an ex-war dude and one day punched the new girl to protect the 11-year-old. And somehow the new girl ended up in the hospital (and i think died), with the dude being the main suspect, the 11-year-old hid him and lied to everyone about it, 100% believing he was innocent, which he was.

What I remember of the cover-
Pale yellow color, cover had a tree with a girl under it and words filling the sides, all words from the prologue about her turning 11 and tell in her first big lie that changed everything.

*possibility of it being 12 or 13... but I think it is 11.

I searched for anime vampires (looking for cool and dark subject matter) and 90% Vampire Knight images, 7% Hellsing images, 2% Some other anime images, 1% Non-anime images.

I am on episode 100 of UnOrdinary...

AND JOHN STILL USES THE HAIR GEL!!!

Well, I have absolutely no schoolwork rn. My SS teacher sent activity stuff to do until we are back in school, and my ELA teacher might have sent work, but I doubt it. The main reason we are not doing school work is because it is online, and not everyone is allowed by the school to take their computers home, so it would be unfair.
