A few years ago-
Gay means happy, carefree.
Now-
Gay means homosexual, or in homophobes opinion, "not right".
Homosexuality aside, I think it is stupid that a word, literally meaning happy nowadays typically has a negative connotation, like when someone says "that's gay".
Literally every school day.
In a couple of years, when I am in high school, I think I might try doing a scholarship slam on PowerPoetry. If you have not been to the site or just do not know what that is, PowerPoetry gives topics about important stuff every couple of months and poets will write poems and use the slam's category, and whosever's is the best, gets a poetry scholarship.
