I have a social studies test on the location and spelling of the 50 US states and the 13 provinces and territories of Canada. I know where about 40 of the states are, and I have no idea where each of the Canadian provinces and territories are nor can I name any more than Quebec, Ontario, and Prince *something* Island. Ugh

lunamoonlight I took a practise test to study. I got 97% on the location of the US states, and my mom helped me with mnemonics and my brother by messing up. The mnemonics is BASMOQ, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchawon (I found out the spelling is written on the test), Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec which is going from left to right for the provinces closest to the US. I remember Yukon because it is close to Alaska and there was Yukon gold found in Alaska. Nunavut has a bunch of little peices of land, and the Northwest Territories has some, still plural. Newfoundland was one of the first places in Canada to be explored, therefore, "New found land". Prince Edward Island is tiny. Nova Scotia and New Brunswick my brother messed up, so now I remember because I corrected him.

First off, I am not typically a happy-go-lucky person, so no.
