okay, so. don't mind the drawing as i haven't rlly drawn much since 2nd grade. but i want your opinions on the shading. is this how ppl shade?

-MarshmallowSmoosh- nice shading. but for it ive notised its a bit smudgy. i reccomend adding another layer before u add shading.
lunamoonlight It is quite good! You do have an excess of white highlight where the darker shading is tho. I recommend a few steps, 1. Find your light source in a 3D realm (is it high, low, in the background, foreground, on the left side, right side). 2. If traditional, start with where the light does not hit and then shade that darkly. If the light hits a spot directly, shade it very lightly, leaving some white for highlight, then the middle is your base color. Then blend everything smoothly for a round object like an apple. For digital, start with your base color, add shading similarly, add lighter portion, blend together, then add white highlights
lunamoonlight The only thing i recommend working on specifically for you is blending more, so you dont see that line between dark and base color, and dont put white on dark shading.

Ada4 I mostly use Schoology, Britannia, and IXL, those would be my top three

JD2005 Same Luna, one of the reasons why I stopped using it. And they also ask fake questions to offer free points to others. 😑

Autumn @Lunamoonlight ikr! Everyone will answer your question by writing 'sorry can't answer' or 'what is black hole...' just to gain some points. And the leaderboard is full of spammers. And you'll see many questions with a title like 'helppp', but when you click it, it's just a google meet link. and people use it as some kind of twitter forum or something. It's not a homework app anymore ;-;
