When people are categorizing WebToons I wish they knew the difference between fantasy and supernatural. Supernatural, at least to me, would be your vampires, werewolves, zombies, demons, undead ect. Fantasy is more of your fairies, elves, gnomes, magic, ect. When I am looking for dark supernatural stuff I don't want to see fairies and elves just like when I am looking for light fantasy stuff I don't want to see someone getting their brain eaten by a zombie. Now there is dark fantasy and some rare light supernatural, but those are different, still in their genres though, an evil fairy is still fantasy and a werewolf who helps people is still supernatural.
JD2005 I agree.
ammyk I think fantasy usually should exist in a world that is very different from our own, while supernatural is often something strange in our world.
Queeny Agree with ammyk, I think it's hard to distinguish the two genres because of the creatures who are often seen in them. I've seen plenty of fantasy books with werewolves and vamps, and some supernatural with dragons and other stuff.
lunamoonlight There are reasons I didn't mention some things like dragons, those can be either they are just usually fantasy. And for what ammyk said, I politely disagree because that could depend on the story, like a fantasy in some forest on Earth or a supernatural story in some other world.
