Ash I shared this post so I could point out this story as fake. First of all, FoxGrl is 12-13 years old, because she revealed she was in the 7th Grade. The minimum age to work at Chick-Fil-A is 15, so how did she work there? Fox also likes animators and she draws them. There is one animator called ilymations that made almost the exact same story (it is entitled “Harassed at Chick-fil-A (Work Stories)”) where the person went through the exact same thing without the curse words. Don’t believe me? Go watch it. Therefore this story is fake, but it teaches a good lesson, do not harass people.

Queeny I watched that Illymations video quite a while ago (about... 8 months ago? 10?) and while it's not fresh in my memory, this sounds almost identical. And as Ash pointed out, unless you're 15+ it's illegal for you to work at Chick-fil-a. Even if the message is "helpful", lying about this isn't cool :/.

so I'm getting enrolled in k12 because the public school i go too sucks because they don't even teach me they don't even check on me I'm doing online school i will be in k12 next year my second year of high school i hope it works out for me cuz I'm really struggling

Queeny Well, lemme tell you, as someone who's been in k12 and other online schools for the entirety of my life, if you're already struggling k12 ain't gonna be a breeze. Most of the kids enrolled into k12 are either 1. The ones that have been there all of their educational years (me), 2. Gifted children that have surpassed the regular curriculum, and 3. Kids who try online school to see if it's for them, most of them end up dropping out after their first year.
KnightStar I was in K12 for years! :) If you didn't like your before schools way of online schooling, then K12 will be even worse.

lunamoonlight Oh don't do that- I've been to k12, it sucked. Basically, you have the assignments (one in every subject each day), and you have one "class" each day, where you, the teacher, and the rest of the students do something similar to a zoom called Blackboard. You get that meeting monday-thursday, and no help on friday. That meeting is one hour. You get one hour of help per day and no help the rest of the day on all of your assignments. I got a D in every class except music and english. I just checked all of the boxes for music and I got an F in English. My public school may suck, but I still somewhat pass.

ammyk It sounds a tiny bit like homeschool with a co-op, and if you're not used to learning that way, it would be very difficult. Anyway, I hope it works out well!
KnightStar Yep. I'm in Connections Academy now, though it's about the same. I'd say it's w o r s e.
