Here is where boys cried

Part two of previous comic. Made proudly with JUMP paint.

Here’s a cheap comic, made proudly on JUMP paint

Please do not take offense for my rants or counter rants.

Pumpkin I don't really think kidznet is for "ranting" it's kind of a waste of the platform.

Crafter4017 Lol, but I need a place to vent some steam

KnightStar @Kitten, I think kidztalk is better for rants b/c I feel like on KT you are suppose to have more descriptive posts / informative.

Sources for counter rant

Welcome back to rants, and welcome to round something! We will be counter ranting! Now, I will have to completely rewrite my rant! Now if you see this and feel offended, listen to the whole way through! You say I am trash talkin! No!, I ain’t 100 % trash talkin! If you wanted to see someone truly trash talk, watch CinemaSins on YouTube! This is MY opinion, your’s matter, but again, read it all the way through! My first point was that MAYBE try to make whatever on the thumbnail INTO the video. I do not watch all the crafts because the thumbnails are kinda designed to make you hooked. Same goes for Ryan’s World. Now, you may ask me to show some evidence. Here’s a piece of evidence, an article written by The Atlantic, says that this style of “parenting” isn’t healthy. Even as a temporary solution.
This is what I’m trying to say. These shows are trying to hook kids. If they want aggressively advertise these videos, why on YouTube itself? Besides, YouTube was originally meant to be a 13+ site. A clash with FTC and COPPA, fueled a fire and in this case, fueled the fire to create darker days. Yes, YouTube WAS a universal platform, and a good one too, people can put things on it as they wish, but the rules are generally unclear. It’s free real estate, of course, but the rules change that a lot.

Another reason on how YouTube is unfair. The rules aren’t clear:

I am not trying to diss peoples interests, I am simply making my mark. That is my second point, that it is UNFAIR. Anyone can make crafts and put it on YouTube, right? But it is either extreme luck or just you happen to be better. This is the case with 5 Minute Crafts. While you can argue that “Your Jealous”, or “Your so selfish”, go ahead! I’ve heard worse!, Back to the point, the same goes for all YouTube videos. Minecraft videos are great. For a while, it was vanilla Minecraft. No flashy thumbnails, no pushy ads, just Minecraft gameplay. Back to the insults, sure. Somebody on Kidznet try and make a craft video. Doesn’t have to be exactly like 5 minute crafts, but can just be a craft video. Do it without advertising to your family, friends, etc. Even if you rack up some views, it is a pitiful number. Once you're a big channel, you can pull some tricks to get people hooked. Throw in some flashy yellow thumbnails, because you can reel in more subscribers. Lastly, I will reiterate: You can do things that are questionable, once you are a big star. A notable example being Logan Paul.
YouTubers that “broke through” are again, lucky. If you argue that luck isn’t always the case, then they have some special properties not everyone has. The best you can possibly do is get a Bronze or Graphite Creator Award.

So in turn, here’s a smaller version. I am not trying to trash talk, channels like Ryan’s World and ChuChu are designed to hook kids and aren’t actually healthy as shown in the Atlantic article, YouTube used to be a great platform with no rules but now turned into a battleground with questionable rules, maybe not all 5 minute crafts videos are clickbait but definitely some are, and yes, I do admit trash talking one channel. COPPA overrules as shown in an article by the Verge.

If these video meant for kids still exist on YouTube, then why was YouTube kids invented? 5 Minute Crafts could certainly improve on thumbnail quality, and I am so glad that I grew up with Minecraft, and that the younger generation can enjoy their Fortnite.

I never intended to trash talk anything.

Round 3! For today’s third rant, we will be ranting about vaccines! While this may sound controversial, it is an important subject that needs someone to aggressively rant about. Starting off, humans have been using vaccines for decades. Sure, you could argue that “It IsNt EnOuGh TiMe”, but it has been enough time and we seen vast strides in the advancement of medical science. If you are talking about back in the day, then yes, vaccines were a tad bit, well, dangerous. But again, that was the past, and we must put it aside. Moving on, vaccines are important for making sure diseases like smallpox and measles don’t come back. But if don’t vaccinate, it will make life riskier, and could delay things like an education, or may cause a lifetime of health problems. Lastly, essential oils aren’t medicine. Repeat after me, esssiential oils aren’t medicines! They cannot be used as an excuse to not vaccinate! It only makes you smell like a spritz of febreeze! And that’s all for now! Recommend new things I should rant about!

lunamoonlight Exactly. Some anti-vax people will say "Well what did people do before vaccines?". They died Karen, a lot of people died.

KnightStar My mom wasn't vaccinated, only for that painful one bc it you were suppose to get in her country. forgot the name

KnightStar but yeah agreed

Welcome to round 2! Now you might wonder what 5 minute crafts is. It is the most controversial thing ever. So may I offer some starters? First of all, the thumbnails are often misleading, if not all the time. They never show how to make whatever is in the thumbnail. Just some lukewarm hand me down crafts anyone can make. Secondly, they somehow manage to attract so many followers, they are 1 YouTube Creator Award away from getting the ultimate one. The Red Diamond. But there is absolutely no hope for us small creators like me. A measly 18 subscribers, 47 videos, and nowhere to advertise. Big channels like them can put a video on YouTube showing why you should use a comb as cooking device for eggs and rack up likes and comments sayin “Great Job!” or “How Creative!” Lastly, none of the crafts ever work. They just throw some things together and claims it works. It’s just like Minecraft YouTubers claiming they “did some mining off camera” and have a full chest of diamonds. Now this is quite short rant, so we’ll make it longer and throw in another part of YouTube I hate. Those stupid shows for little kids! Also Ryan’s World is stupid like him! They take over YouTube wayyy faster than Fortnite videos, which I also hate! No wonder why these videos set huge records for the amount of dislikes… this shows that these videos aren’t fit for YouTube, and are a total waste of space. The creators are using up precious oxygen that exists on Earth.

lunamoonlight As for channels like 5 Minute Crafts, Troom Troom, ect (which I am pretty sure are all the same people), I agree with you. I watch some other YouTubers like LaurenzSide who test that stuff out and see how much they fail. Mostly they are big because they are a meme and horrible.

Queeny Oof, 5 minute crafts is cringe. Doesn't even help people with DIYs, so there's really no point to the channel.

While this may sound controversial to the young ones in this platform, today we will be ranting about Fortnite. Starting off at home base we have Fortnite. Fortnite is not a revolutionary game and it never will. It’s existence was a bruh moment, because it inspired a generation of great games to turn to “battle royale”. Battle Royale isn’t fun, it’s everywhere and it’s boring. Fortnite also permanently corrupted YouTube. Every time I logged on back in 2017, the only videos in my recommended weren’t the Halo Youtubers I loved so much, but some obscure, dumb YouTubers going by the name of “Ali A” and “tfue”. It made a whole generation of children whom grew up with classics: Halo, CoD, Cool Math Games, corrupted and twisted by watching stupid tiktoks about the overly stupid “dances”. What happened to “taunts” in Team Fortress 2? In fact, all if not some of the “dances” are stolen from old videos, popular video games, and various internet memes. The invention of tiktok also made the situation worse, as more people sympathized with Fortnite. The only thing on Twitch had to be Fortnite. There had to be Fortnite. Also, the game design was cheap and cobbled together. Battle Royale had been a concept long before its creator thought of it. It was Minecraft Hunger Games, Halo DM, Battlefield, and Call of Duty. The cobbled some features from each, threw in some stupid micro transactions, and there you have it. A game to supposedly outrank all games for months. It was an accurate definition of “you can’t put lipstick on a pig, it is still a pig.”, with the lipstick being fortnite and the pig being battle royale games. It still has a stupid amount of little kids playing it and getting “the dub”. It also irks me that Fortnite got “Game of the Year” back in 2017. THAT SHOULD HAVE GONE TO RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2!, and it really surprised me that a game whose player base consists mostly of 5 year olds with their mommies credit cards got a prestigious award. But again, Minecraft took the crown back when they announced new villagers. Great! And then the Halo Infinite trailer came out, That’s greater!, and the nail in the coffin? Doom Eternal! That’s even greater! Moving on from silly, cobbled together 5 year old’s haven, we go to TikTok. As a reminder, if you already are getting ***** like a anime nerd getting ***** when someone disses Naruto, I don’t care! I don’t care that you are getting *****, I am trying to spread the word! Now before we continue our violent crusade against Fortnite, I would like to thank NordVpn for sponsoring this! Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

Crafter4017 I will rant about 5 minute crafts later. Recommend something I should rant about in the comments below.

lunamoonlight Yeah I never played Fortnite nor will I ever nor have I seen people play it that much because I do not have TikTok and was not on YT in 2017.

Crafter4017 Note that the asterisks mean ***.

Crafter4017 As in taking a___

KnightStar Idk Fortnite, I just know it from the cringe lol.

lunamoonlight I think KS edited my comment after I mentioned that.

While Halo 5: Guardians may be the newest Halo game of the series, it isn’t necessarily the best. 343 completely pushed Bungie’s Master Chief into the waste bin, creating a “Master Chief” that was more of a armored trashcan. Certainly, his armor and specs were better, but by watching the fight cutscene between Locke and Chief, one can clearly tell it was like sumo wrestling. Chief won of course, but should’ve been able to very quickly. Halo 5 introduced a ton of characters randomly, as if they were the cheap characters you would get out a free to pay EA game. They have no story, no background, not even remotely tied to the lore in any way. Since it was also a T rated game, it also means it loses the overall aesthetic the Halo Games have. Some blood here and there, some colorful language, and other things that make Halo Halo. But 343 had to come in after getting too cocky with Halo 4, creating a really “meh” piece of work over the period of four years. The marketing campaign while was interesting, made Halo 5 one of those games where the trailers are better than the games. The same goes for Fallout 76. The only true saving grace however, is the multiplayer. Just vanilla multiplayer, tdm, dm, CTF, etc. If it is better than any game, Halo 5 is definitely better than Fortnite. Even the buggy Fallout 76 is better, because it is meant to be funny when you nuke your friends base with more than one nuke and crash the server. In fact, Minecraft is better than any of these games, combined, because of Minecraft’s simple aesthetic. Halo 5 also said it was going to have a “classic feel”, which wasn’t true, because they completely ruined the OG Halo BR and AR. The REQ packs they made money out of were a final nail in the coffin. In conclusion, Halo 5 is pretty much the definition of FIFA games and EA, and is totally better than Fortnite.
