Let's try a game-
Your notification number is the year, what's happening in that year? If your year is under 1,000 then you may choose AD or BC, but if it's more than 1,000, it must be AD.
For me, it is 55039 AD. Humanity and all other life forms from 2021 are dead because the world went into several stages of global warming and ice ages. The sun died quicker than humans thought it would and the earth- and all other planets in the same solar system- are now a chunk of ice. Everything is dead.

Scientists, historians, and all other valuable members have banded together with a new goal: Make sure humanity's history is remembered. Thus, they have begun working on a time capsule strong enough to last through it's journey through space.
