lunamoonlight I used graphite (HB) for the outline, then traced it with a hard charcoal, then I used the hard charcoal to do some rough shading, then I used a blending stump to blend it all. Those blending stumps can make a huge difference.

DukeSilver I've tried charcoal, but, I mean, you've seen how terrible of an artist I am. Plus, charcoal just frustrates me.

Well, social studies is a little easy at the moment. My main problem in the class is that I find the topic (mostly wars) very boring and I start to zone out while reading the book. I've found that when it's a topic I care about or it just inspires some sort of emotion, I actually care more and read it. Currently, we're going over the creation of the US constitution. One of the topics is the 3/5s thing, and well, I just posted a full-on rant in The Trash Shack.
