This may seem strange, but I don’t fear death. That doesn’t mean I’m fearless, it just means I don’t care if I die. In my opinion, the death of someone I care about is ten million times worse than my own death. Im pretty darn sure that it isn’t healthy to be that overly selfless, but here we are. I would usually resort to distracting myself, but school is out for the summer and I don’t have anything to do but sit in my room and have intrusive thoughts, existential crisis, and everything in-between. Most say that being mature for your age is a good thing, but knowing how badly adults are handling society sucks. I have to hide being Jewish because anti-Semitic shootings are at an all time high, the south, where I live, is very homophobic. This isn’t saying I’m suicidal, I don’t want to die. Just on the off chance, if I was in a room with one other person, and only one of us could leave alive, I would be fine with sacrificing myself. Not happy about it, but fine with it. If you read all this, thanks. This isn’t for pity, it’s just to vent. ☺️
