Icon For Hire, Last One Standing, official music video... woah.

lunamoonlight (Random knowledge, the girl singing is Arial Bloomer, she is the lead singer and main face of the band. The main guy they focus on is Shawn Jump, her husband, and the lead guitarist, as well as the one who organizes most of the music in general.)

Ada4 Wow

lunamoonlight I wonder where they got the set, and costumes, and all of that.

When The Lambs Became The Wolves
Voltaire

When I was a little lamb, I played in the meadows
With fellow lambs just like a lamb should
Our hearts, they were light and our moods, they were mellow
Lest we heard howls, the howls from the woods

Late one night as we offed the light
And we laid our heads to sleep
In from the night came a harrowing sight
And it had an appetite for sheep
Well, the lambs, they were terrified
But there in their widened eyes
Suddenly I saw a change
And they've never ever been the same
They bit his face, they ate his heart
They tore that wolf apart
And the blood, oh the blood, oh the blood
Oh, the blood, it flowed

Now, I'm lying in my pen
And I try to get some sleep
But I'm thinking of the lambs
And their bloody awful teeth
They're not acting as they should
And now have claws instead of hooves
And I wonder if it's safe to sleep
'Cause the lambs, the lambs became the wolves
Yeah, the lambs, the lambs became the wolves

In these days, through a gloomy haze
We launch another ardent sweep
We say we're hunting wolves
But they're mostly wearing wool
'Cause some of them are fellow sheep
See, the risk of combating monsters
Is the risk of becoming monsters
In this game of us or them
Will we ever be the same again?
But, what really breaks my heart
Is when we tear ourselves apart
'Cause the blood that we love
Is the blood flowing from our own

Now, I'm lying in my pen
And I try to get some sleep
But I'm thinking of the lambs
And their bloody awful teeth
They're not acting as they should
And now have claws instead of hooves
And I wonder if it's safe to sleep
'Cause the lambs, the lambs became the wolves
Yeah, the lambs, the lambs became the wolves

Now, I'm lying in my pen
And I try to get some sleep
But I'm thinking of the lambs
And their bloody awful teeth
They're not acting as they should
And now have claws instead of hooves
And I wonder if it's safe to sleep
'Cause the lambs, the lambs became the wolves
'Cause, the lambs, the lambs became the wolves
When the lambs, the lambs became the wolves
When the lambs, the lambs became the wolves

The song has a really good meaning behind the metaphor.

JD2005 👍🏻

lunamoonlight Most important- "See, the risk of combating monsters, is the risk of becoming monsters... but what really breaks my heart, is when we tear ourselves apart, because the blood that we love is the blood flowing from our own"

Explanation of my religion-

When it comes to the creation of the world, and the afterlife, seasons, and things like that, I do believe in Hellenism*, just as I believe the gods and goddesses are real. When it comes to praying, offerings, or any sort of faith, it's a little fuzzy. I don't really believe that praying to gods will do anything however, it's related to the trust issues I'm sure. When it comes to that, I'm more atheist. So if that clears it up a little, here.

Hellenism*
Hellenism is the religion of Greek gods and goddesses, along with mythology.

Ada4 I am a Muslim, have heard this news before, we all have our religions, in the Quran, the holy book for Muslims has a Surah (chapter of the Quran) it’s Al Kafiroon, it talks about respecting other’s religion choice. Hellenism is your religion choice, and Greek gods, sounds very cool. I researched about Greek Mythology about, idk, 1 in a half years, I think.

lunamoonlight :)

KnightStar I am not religious. I do not like religion at all. To me, though they all contradict, religion has the same master, the Devil. Though I have respect for the people in the religion, I do not respect the religion. I believe in Jesus as God as I believe in the sun's rising. I only believe in something if it's 100% true and if there is not a single doubt - not for my happiness, nor my families traditions. So much of religion is filled with idol worshiping and darkness. Muhammad ("Allah's" master) married pubescents girls and ruined their childhood (Aisha was much smarter than her husband). Many popes abuse and manipulate children in a terrible way. I say rid of traditions, culture and idol worshipping and follow a true God in spirit. And yes, though Catholics follow Jesus, they don't follow him in Spirit & the Bible - idolize to the extreme. Sorry for this rant. I just really dislike religion I suppose. (As I said, "not the religious, but the religion.") Imma get slammed for this. I smell it lol.

lunamoonlight @KnightStar I get it. I understand what you mean. Hellenism just seems realistic to me, and less black and white then other philosopheys.

KnightStar @lunamoonlight I understand your viewpoint as well. I mean I used to be Buddhist (I didn't really worship or idolize Buddha, just kept the philosophies to heart.) I was Buddhist for all meh life and my mother has a Buddha laying around everywhere. Shes very confused with her religion or beliefs though, she just keeps Buddha as a cultural thing idk. My dad is in new age or even neo-Christianity (he doesn't reject the Bible, but he believes in pretty... crazy things... like, trust me on this one, it's crazy... 0-0).

KnightStar PS, I forgot to note the main point of my response: I was Buddhist because it seemed black and white to me as well (therefor, "another life" or some reaching the full enteral afterlife.) But now, black in white is the system of just. We are either in full guilt or in full forgiveness. That to me is something very complex, even if said and understood so simply.

Old OC, Isabell. I gave her outfit an upgrade, her face more detail, and i made her a room. The meanings of the symbols are "witch" (outside of the room), the big one is "psychic awareness", the one on her neck means "goddess", the scroll with 2, the top is "magick strength", the star is "magick energy", the one on top of that scroll is "protection".

lunamoonlight Those hands were hell

lunamoonlight And did i literally look up "witchy symbols" to find those, yes, yes i did.

JD2005 Pretty! ❤

CSeriestechhero wow

Ada4 Wow! Love it!

I posted the digital version of this, but here is the original.

lunamoonlight Taped cuz i traced it for the digital.

lunamoonlight The right arm was giving me a lot of trouble, so naturally i reduced it to a skeleton arm. Normal pretty is overrated.

JD2005 Cool!

Me doing Social Studies-
Me- *reading SS book, bored and half-asleep*

Me- *trying to scroll up and wondering why I am scrolling down*
Also me- *unaware of myself holding down on the space bar*

(on my computer, 1 click of the space bar, the page goes down, holding space bar, the bottom of the page)

JD2005 Oof lol.

SPOTIFY, YOU ***. I WAS LISTENING TO THAT!
(Spotify has removed "The Purge", no longer playable)

lunamoonlight It has been fickle, like when I was listening to it on This is Tom MacDonald, and I clicked it, it would play the one before or after it, so I went to the single itself. Now it's completely gone. What the h*** man?

JD2005 Oof. BTW, I see that it's marked as explicit. Did you check the settings if "Allow Explicit Content" is turned off?

lunamoonlight Yea, I can listen to explicit stuff. Heck, almost everything by Tom MacDonald is explicit, I couldn't listen to him otherwise. Spotify simply removed the song.

JD2005 Oof. Why did they do that though?

lunamoonlight Who knows. Could be a liscensing thing.

I've been listening to a song called The Purge. It's by Tom MacDonald (even tho, it's not written by him, nor does he rap/sing in it), feat. Aries and Billy Marchiafava. It's a beautiful song. The music kinda sounds like they searched for aesthetic audios tho but it's still nice. The voice and lyrics are beautiful as well. Lyrics-

Generations dying singing la la la, la la la
The world is burning singing la la la, la la la
Governments, they kill us singing la la la, la la la
Making profits from our pain singing la la la, la la la

Generations dying singing la la la, la la la
The world is burning singing la la la, la la la
Governments, they kill us singing la la la, la la la
Making profits from our pain singing la la la, la la la
Singing la la la, la la la, la la la.

(All by-ear, couldn't find lyrics from a website, there is another line I'm unsure of, it's like a pre-chorus, have no idea what it is.)

lunamoonlight WHAT THE HECK SPOTIFY

AstrialFlames I think i know that song. Also FYI I think you have the nicest to me since i joined so thank you for being nice.

EloquentRacer92 its gone...

lunamoonlight Yw!

Ada4 No offense, I’m not really a fan of Tom McDonald, rap is just not my thing.

JD2005 Same @Ada4.

Waiting for a response from my school's activity director today. Apparently, there wasn't school yesterday, not that I would know, so I should get a reply today. Fingers crossed I can start Literature Club. I still need to ask a teacher to supervise, but I'd rather get confirmation first.

JD2005 Best of luck!
